Horses of Hoofprint Bay - Producer | Publisher

Horses of Hoofprint Bay is a lovingly hand-drawn 2D point and click barn buildup game. Players take care of their horses, train them to build up strength and confidence, and compete for prize money. Other core machanics include breeding adorable foals, hiring and managing staff, and upgrading stable buildings

The core development team consists of two people: Illustrator Anna Glinsmann and Programmer Theresa Thoma. The two met in the horse game community, where I delightedly watched them start working on this project and eventually offered to join them in the role of publisher and producer. I'm involved in design decisions and prioritization and handle the majority of marketing and social media efforts.

Horses of Hoofprint Bay is strongly inpsired by My Horse Farm (Mein Pferdehof) from 2003 and aims to be a modern reimagining of that game for a now grown-up audience.

The game was announced in late October 2025. A Free Demo was released in February 2026, receiving Overwhelmingly Positive reviews and getting tens of thousands of players within a few weeks. The full release is planned for later in 2026.
